EARLY CAREER FACULTY OPPORTUNITIES

Early Career Faculty Mock Study Section
If you would like to participate in the mock study section, we request applications be sent to the Coordinating Center for selection of review in the Mock Study Section. Submit applications to the OAIC Coordinating Center via email peppercenter@wakehealth.edu no later than Friday March 5, 2021.

The Mock Study Section accepts all types of proposals (R21, R01, pilot applications, K08, etc). Preferred format is a full PDF document. All proposals should include a cover page containing the following details: PI Name, Pepper Center, Funding Mechanism, and Proposal Title.

Poster Session
Abstract submission open from Friday, February 26 to Monday, March 22, 2021

The Poster session will be held Thursday April 29, 2021. It will be open to all attendees to attend and participate. Posters submissions are required to submit an abstract to accommodate their poster prior to the meeting. Abstract and Poster Guidelines will be distributed by the OAIC Coordinating Center and will be available on the OAIC National Website. The final date to submit an abstract and reserve a poster is Monday, March 22.

Match up Session
The annual match up session will be Friday, April 30 at 11 am ET. All attendees must indicate on their registration if they plan to participate in the Match up. Once registration is complete, the Coordinating Center will contact the junior attendees for Match up preferences. Matches are based on first come first serve. This activity is available to allow attendees to meet and gain insight from senior faculty in your field of expertise. We strongly encourage all to participate!
